Golden Terminal uses MCP — Model Context Protocol — as the common bridge between your AI client and the device you want it to work with.

Connect your AI client

ChatGPT: open Golden Terminal in Apps / Plugins and choose Connect. When prompted, sign in to your Golden Terminal account.

Any MCP-compatible client: add the remote MCP endpoint below, then complete browser sign-in when the client asks.

Start Terminal Mode on the device

Run one command on the computer you want the AI to work with. Your browser opens for verification.

Verify and keep the terminal open

Choose an available sign-in provider. After verification, the browser returns to your account and the live terminal appears to the AI as connected-device.

Keep the terminal window open while you want the AI to use that device. Close it or press Ctrl+C to disconnect.
